Service Description
This life-skills class is for 8th grade through 12th grade. Come and learn the essentials of planning a fun and engaging event or party. We will discuss everything from wedding/baby showers to hosting a Bible study. Students will learn time management skills, budgeting, planning food and games, how to deal calmly with unexpected issues, and how to improvise when needed. Our big project for the semester will be planning the end of year event for our middle schoolers. Due to the number of middle and high schoolers at our co-op this year, we will be splitting our usual end of year murder mystery party into a middle and high school event. This class will host the middle school event, while I will continue to plan the high school event. Other projects may include assisting with the co-op graduation, field day, and maybe a teacher appreciation day.
